Training Sessions

Training sessions are held on the third Saturday of the month between April and September at various locations throughout our members range. These sessions are designed to help dogs and handlers better understand training concepts and prepare better for hunt tests. LHRC members give a helping hand to each other by taking turns throwing marks, planting blinds and giving advice. New members are encouraged to attend these events, as well as those who are considering joining the club. Call to find out about the next session and location.

Hunt Tests

LHRC holds annual hunt tests at the started, intermediate and senior levels. These tests are designed to hold your dog to a standard rather than being competitive against other dogs. Much preparation and work goes into these tests to make them run smoothly. Club members donate much time to setting them up and working at them. We are also the site for the Northeast Regional event.
